Helium balloons

ever tried swallowing helium? its hilarious.. cut the balloon at its stump but dont let the helium get out. exhale, then inhale the helium and start talking. you'll sound like daffy duck for a few seconds.. really. i tried that today and it was absolutely HILARIOUS. like the voice akon sings lonely in. but the effect's only for a while. at first i was a bit apprehensive, but my motto is to try everything in life at least once (ok, not everything la, but most), and there are generally no side effects anyway (of course, everything in moderation), cos it doesnt affect your lungs, just your voice box. but hilarious ;-) absolutely..

had a mushroom cheese burger at burger kings last night and followed up with 2 glasses of sangria. bought 2 tops as well - a deep purple one and a black racerback.

oh yeah, definitely have to grouch abt the LDP at night. i mean, driving along it at 10 or after would mean that you generally have a free reign of the road right? WRONG! every night, almost everyone slams their emergency brakes cos some stupid lorry is cleaning the road. thats fine, i would LOVE clean roads (why not go all the way and do the gutters too?), but they should have some markers or something to warn motorists that there's some obstruction up ahead. not 3 feet before, its ridiculous. i swear thats an accident waiting to happen.. thank god for brakes!

MAC launching today, so came into the office at like 6.45 to put up balloons (thats where i got the helium from), and posters.. tmrws a whole day outta the office to be spent in sheraton instead, and too malas to drive so mi amigo is picking me up.. god i love being a woman sometimes. not all the time la, cos women can get very petty and bitchy at times.. sometimes is good enough!

mum called me yesterday and i was grouching abt my mobile cos its really going to the dogs - i hv to like switch it on 20 times a day, especially when i text someone cos it tends to get jammed. so my mum told me to change the battery cos my phone's like ANCIENT (abt 3 yrs old - it might as well be obsolete - wait a minute, it ALREADY is). but whats funny is that its still in basic working condition, and its really hardy. like the other day someone called me and i was trying to answer but accidentally dropped it. and the back cover flew off but guess what? IT CONTINUED RINGING!! yeah, the nokia never fails to amaze.. anyways, so i told her i wanted to get a new phone cos i'm pretty much bored with this one, but that i have no money and she goes like "why dont you wait til your birthday?" and i'm like "are you getting me one?" and she says YES... hahahahahaha.. so i'm just gonna hang on to this phone for another one and a half months.. cool.. yaaaayyy.. must be those string of pearls and matching earrings i got her for her birthday.. mwahahahaha ;-)

lost my melamine spoon in the office and didnt get it back even tho i sent out an email to everyone asking them to PUT IT BACK.. sheeshh.. now i have a melamine bowl with no matching spoon. i mean, thats close to a catastrophe!

todays lunch was catered cos of the MAC launching and had lunch with some of my fave people.. thats where the helium idea came up. and a few other ideas as well ;-) also looking forward to a hiking trip to camerons first week of august and some charity event for disabled kids. so much work, so little time..

bought some absolutely yummy orange lip balm from the body shop and cant stop applying it cos it smells SOOOO good - almost edible.. mmmmmmm... in ORANGE, luv, they didnt have apple *wink wink* ;-) cya tmrw.. and yeah, we'll sit tgthr and you can sleep ;-)
