November’s CLEO

Looked thick and on the cover was pasted the annual party’s pass, which i try not to miss cos the goodie bags are great! Came home and opened it and it was good and bad.

The good was that there was a lot of free stuff – Pantene’s 3-minute treatment, pads from Whisper (whoever goes back to pads after discovering tampons?) and Horlicks 3-in-1. Which reminds me that i got a Campbells sample on the way to pavilion this afternoon! Also had some free coupons for Clinique products and a Lesportsac catalogue.

Then i turned to the party page. All these years, they had a couple of pages at least about the goodie bag being given for the first 1000 people to show up. This time around however, there was no mention about what the goodie bag contained. And all these past years, there was also a free drink thrown in for those with the entrance pass, but no mention about THAT either. Cost cutting measures? Sigh..

Anyways, i don’t know if i’m going, my friends wedding falls on the same day – mass in the morning and dinner at 7. Everyone’s getting married all of a sudden. Hmmmm..

All these years i’ve been lining up for cleo’s annual rave, sometimes in the rain for an hour. Sounds mad i know :p except for last year when i was all geared up to go but rumours were rife that there was gonna be a riot somewhere in KL and i tot, well, a goodie bag don’t matter much anymore :p
