"In an Open Relationship"
Eh look, if you're in a relationship, you're in a relationship la. Whats all this about being in an open relationship?
At first I didnt even know what the term meant, until I googled it. My my..
For the definition, check out this link:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=open%20relationship
So my point is, if you want to be in an open relationship, why bother having a relationship in the first place. Just say "Oh, I have friends with benefits!"
I personally dont think there is anything worth salvaging in a relationship if you both can agree to date / sleep with everyone else. So does it mean you can have an open relationship with 18 people at once?
And apparently that term is official now huh? I mean, if FB has that option in the "relationship status" column, thats like biblical truth!

in your link to the urban dictionary, the second explanation did state this: 'Infact they will just love each other for who they are and support each other through times of need.' so isn't that something good in an open relationship which a normal relationship lacks?? because u'll tend to demand when u're in a normal relationship... whereas there's no such demand/jealousy in an open relationship... anyway, just my point of view although i personally prefer to stick to the conventional one... :)

be it friends with benefit or even the not-so-polite term "fubu"... i personally think so long as it's a mutual and it doesn't harm anyone, there isn't much wrong in it... however that doesn't justify that an "open relationship" is right as well... but i just see it as a symbiosis thing... cos' sometimes the conventional love and sex can turn out to be the ugly "prey and predator" drama...
