So much to say, so little time to say it all..

Well, first - girls night out. Very fun. For me at least. "Its the others" as the brits say :P But i had fun. Couldnt feel my legs the next morning tho, were like jelly.
Second, my graduation. i FREAKING passed. but i believe in miracles. always. have faith my child have faith ;-) teambldg in Bintan was nice, was good to see everyone for one last time at least. Tho i wish the south americans and europeans were there as well. and while we're at it, why not include the north americans and indians. yeah well, wishful thinking.. But no regrets no matter what happens/ed. was a fantastic experience altogether.
went snorkelling in bintan, was so cool, saw like 15 species of fish (small ones la, it was just abt 5 metres away from the shoreline), and 3 species of crab, and a jellyfish swam past me when i was swimming, just about a foot away. was SOOOOOOO cool. i miss snorkelling. if i ever do get to bum around (which should be soon hopefully ;-), will got to redang first thing ;-)
Third, something someone wrote abt in the papers the other day. about men being more in tune with their car cos they drive with one hand - apparently people who drive with one hand connect with their car, unlike (most) women who drive with both hands, apparently they view their cars as a separate entity! well, most of the time, my left hand is on the wheel, and my right is leaning against the window supporting my head, or my right hand is on the wheel and my left is fiddling with the readio (you'd be surprised how much i love to channel surf).. so the article doesnt count.. but then, they're always generalizations.. and exceptions.. so..
and while we're on the subject of driving, why not grouch about the sorry state of malaysian drivers. i mean, if you cant drive (and i dont mean technically, i mean the finer points), then STAY OFF THE GOD DAMN ROAD YOU MORON!!! you're a hazard to yourself and to others you selfish cow. just cos the limit is 110 doesnt mean you hog the right lane at 110.. what abt people for whom rules are meant to be broken? and while we r grouching abt roads, i think motorcyclists should be banned. same reason - hazardous. worse than DG cargo! and talking abt banning - i think kids below the age of 24 should be banned from shopping complexes. can you imagine a kid dripping ice cream down your neck from the booth behind you when you're having thai fried rice with chicken, egg, onions and belacan? sheesh..
fourth, mont blanc. checked out the price in KLCC - RM1040. this whole paragraph is dedicated to it. mont blanc. enuff said.
fifth, annual dinner. damn fun, photos look great but havent had the time to upload them as yet. supposed to be rock, and was very fun.. especially elvis and the harleys.
sixth, harry potter. am now at the part where they're hiding out in sirius house after the wedding. this book is tearing me apart. on the one hand, i wanna speed read and find out everything. on the other hand, this book needs to be savoured, every blinking word. hmmm, the battle of wills..
seventh, futsal, started again after a 7-mth hiatus (is hiatus the right word)? anyway, was fun. apatr from getting kicked and my legs turning to jelly. again.
eighth, hmmmmm.. there is something i'm forgetting but just cant rmbr. apart from south africa. oh well..
a juxtaposition of an oxymoron. just sounds like a mouthful. there.

ok well its boring..

Thats what Tres said anyway.. and i kinda felt it too, like t feels different to write after a long time and the creative are not flowing. Like its even boring re-reading it. i dont know - Lilian, did you feel it? Like my blog has kinda lost it touch or its "read-worthiness"? hmmmmmm... well, mayb i was blogging for the sake of blogging and not cos i had something to say (as i always do) since i'm an opinionated young lady ;-) which is not such a bad thing anyway (of cos some people say tht a girl's place is in the kitchen, and i say WHY? and they go like why not? man, this could go on forever..

oh know what i realised was weird? everytime i put in a country's name, it would automatically go to the next line when i publish it. like india is in the next line, and america and i think belgium as well.

my reefer so had a dumb problem today so cos of that my special eqpmts pending and now got another reefer to be picked up, so i better do tht and go home cos my auntie is making thosai, and i'll put ghee and sugar and sit in front of the TV with that and the Wednesday's Star 2 which has problems by youths WHO DONT EVEN RECOGNIZE LUCKY when they see it!!!

i mean, you think you're worse off than all those sitting in africa and boiling stones in pots of water just ti show their children tht something's on the stove? get a grip people, there are bigger problems out there FOR CRYING OUT LOUD..

Aaaahhhh, got that out of my system at least.

Anyway, found this quote from Pat's IM note:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Really nice. Its true, you'll regret what you didnt do. Whatever you did, even if wrong, can just be out down to bad experiences and life's lessons. But regrets? Not worth it la.. so Nike was right - JUST DO IT ;-) yes yes, I did!! hehehehe.. ;-)

Vacation Part 2

So came bc from India, went to work for a wk and then had my module+vacation again.. life is good eh? ;-) Its written in the stars, babe ;-)

Didn’t study at all and slept through the whole 13-hour flight. Amazing. But I was always one for the bed anyway ;-)

So got to CPH and had fun, met up with a few people and stuff. Went to the bakery and the pizza place as usual, but kinda miss Karlslunde.. Exams from Monday to Wed, Buddy Holly on Thursday night, BDV on training, another exam on Sat and SLW started on Sun. Now if there ever was the mother of all team buildings, this would be it.

We slept on a raft, cycled for 10 kms, rowed for days on end, cooked our own food (guys can cook too you know!!!), walked for about 100 kms, ran for another 20, built rafts, slept in tents, peed in the bushes, rode on horse carriages. Really like jungle people la you know.. I didn’t hv my bath in 5 days! The only thing was that we didn’t have to hunt for our own venison – not like we had venison in the first place la.

Was absolutely exhausting to a point of delirium.. like WHY? But the ending, the closing made it all SOOO worth it. Was absolutely fantastic. I think this program was one of the best things that happened to me, the experience, the people, the friends tht I made, the exposure I got ( I mean at one point it was champagne and strawberries).. ;-), the traveling, the international drinking nights ;-).. unbelievable.

So anyways, well the closing dinner was nice, the after party was nicer ;-) VERY much nicer. In fact, if I hear a song now tht was played at the after party, my memories go back to it straightaway.. miss all of them so much… was kinda nostalgic cos you know tht you met these people and they were a great bunch but you’re never gonna see them again!

So well, checked out the next morning after breakfast and some, flew to London and had a good rest. Shopping, Hastings, M&S, Les Mis (not as nice as Blood Brothers or Phantom), chocolate trifle, Regent’s Park, cheese on toast, the London Zoo, strawberries and cream, the works.. P/S: if you want good food, go to London ;-)

Flew to Belgium, was very fun, stayed with Gianni (the pissing mannequin, his mom, his dad, his siblings, the Waterloo hill climb at night ;-), Brugge, Brussels, Leonidas, chocolates, ice cream, rhubarb pie, the Beersel castle, the kittens, cherry beer (raspberry is nicer ;-).. and so much more.. Someone pls pay me to travel.. Aaaahhhh…

Took the train to Amsterdam, met a solo Aussie on the way (that’s whats nice abt traveling alone, if you’re traveling with anyone else, you wouldn’t speak to strangers).. the bad thing about tarvelling alone in AMS is tht I couldn’t try the joints! So only tried hash and cannabis lollies..

And flew home. This trip was exhausting tho.. Oh, just remembered tht I hv to write a letter of complaint to KLM – they cancelled my AMS – KUL leg and didn’t even apologize! Anyways..
