Finally finally finally

... watched transformers that is. yup, optimus prime, bumble bee, decepticons, autobots, etc etc.. like 6 weeks after the movie came out and everyone else has watched it 6 times. or at least 4. well thts what i hear from most people anyway. well, thing is, i think its totally overhyped. yeah well it was ok, but just not deserving of the hype surrounding it, like everyone went, "oh you HAVE to go watch it" and "i cried at the end" and all.. and the reason they cried (altho it was NOT a tearjerker movie) was that the movie was so beautifully made.. i mean, it was normal la, like an action movie. full stop. oh, i already hv a dot. okok sheesh.. but yeah.. and i was so disappointed cos most of the robots/cars transformation was done too close to the screen (if you know what i mean), and i couldnt appreciate the full transformation, it was like watching the transformation part by part. ok only le..

went go karting abt 2 wks ago, was fun, speed is so nice. spun out twice. but cool la. but finished 21st out of 30. and i thought i was a good driver. but its a combination i guess, you need a good car too, like gorgeous. like how in transformers, the salesman says "the car chooses the driver".. heheheh..

so everyone misses my blog huh? i should be as famous as dustin nguyen someday ;-) and mayb someone can start paying me or endorsing my blog or insert ads so i get paid. sigh..

nice weather today. tres is back, so goodie, tons of stories luv ;-) you missed ALL the fun.

Whirring in Motion

I don’t know what I’m thinking.. its so “bercelaru” like everything is going around and I can extract a few thoughts out of it and its all in flashes.. wonder why. Now I know why you need a pensieve ;-)

Like I’m updating the systems at the moment, and at the same time listening to George Michael and Elton John’s live version of Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, and at the same time as everything is whirring in motion, I’m also thinking about how GM and EL and gay and am also smiling at the way GM introduces EL in the middle of the song and the crowd screams.. that’s why live music is sometimes great, cos it kinda takes you to the place where it’s all happening. You feel the exhilaration of the crowd, you see the cheering and the candles waving in the air, and its all happening in your mind’s eye. The way we connect something to another totally unrelated incident is amazing..

Like I used to listen to Yanni’s Live At The Acropolis when I was much younger, and now when I listen to it again after a few years’ hiatus, it all comes back. The power of a great song. Or when I listen to stuff tht was being played when I was in my room bc in varsity, and the view from the window comes bc into my mind..

And while I’m feeling nostalgic, I might as well say tht I’m feeling a leeeeetle left out cos everyone from my batch is applying for expat postings. Those tht aren’t are those who failed and I seriously think tht I’m the only one in the world who passed and yet cant apply. Shit la.. (ya ya I know shit happens and life’s unfair, but doesn’t make it any easier!)

And while I’m grouching I might as well bring up a point – why do we have employees in an organization when if someone wants to get something done, they refer directly to the managers. Oh, to do the crappy work, got it!

"Sorry ye, dek"

was on a bloody saturday afternoon (i mean who would issue summons on a saturday FREAKING afternoon?) i can totally understand if it was at night or early morning when everyone is high and all la, but a freaking SATURDAY AFTERNOON.. aaaaarrrrgggghhhh..

so there i was doing 101 on a bloody 80 road. and the asshole pulls me over and this idiot comes up and says "sorry ye dek, tapi jalan ni 80 lah" and i dont say anything, i mean i was so pissed. i think during the whole encounter, i didnt say a word. really.

so idiot comes up to me and says "tengok lesen", and i saw his badge saying "saya anti rasuah", well fuck it i dont care, i'm not paying you to line your fucking pockets.

so then he says something like "adik bawak laju la, saya kena saman adik ye, sorry ye dek" and i didnt say a word and he starts writing. so lantak la.

then he comes bc and asks me to sign the fucking slip and keeps saying "sorry ye dek" like 2 million times. i mean you're not sorry you moron, you're doing your job. how can you be sorry when this is what you signed up for in your JD? if you're saying sorry tht there's no money lining your pockets, i can understand la. but dont la keep saying sorry when you dont mean it. if you had actually meant it, you wouldnt be writing out the ticket in the first place, you moron!

and think abt it - the amount of shit thts happening here at the moment and the only people they can catch are people who are doing 101. fucking hell, where are your priorities? the snatch thefts, the murders, the illegal immigrants. and we wonder why all the good brains are leaving the country. well, i could tell you why. cos we people look at the big picture, you dumb asses. not people doing 101 on an 80 road. who the hell cares abt these minute things in life? small minded? duh..

like germany which has the autobahn. take it on whatever speed you like but know your resposibilities. and do we see people dying due to accidents in that country. no. is the country a 3rd world country? no. why not? people look at the bigger picture. summoning when you're doing 160 on a 120 road is understandable cos ur putting other people in danger as well, but 101 on an 80 road is ridiculous.

i am so pissed. anyone who knows anyone who knows anyone (well u get the picture), who is able to cancel off a summons, psl lemme know, or at least hv it discounted or compounded. and yes Arv, i could ask daddy, just tht i dont think he needs to know i got another summons.
